The Cancun Allstar Fiesta is a Memorial Day weekend beachfest attracting
10's of thousands of 20-somethings from across the US to the shores of Cancun, Mexico
for 5 days of fun in the sun. The allstarfiesta.com website has become a must-see for
young adults seeking a tropical spring fling and is the main marketing tools for promoting
the event.
Tech 9 developed a registration system and online polling database using open-source tools
allowing Cancun Allstar Fiesta to collect key demographic information on its audience.
Community was developed through the use of chat rooms to allow visitors to share their experiences
at previous Allstar Fiestas with other members.
The polling system allowed users to vote for their favorites in a variety of fields such as "Favorite R&B Singer, Favorite
Athlete and Favorite Old School Jam". Tech 9 also managed all registration and mass email distributions for the site.
